Method:
- Cut ends off bitter gourds, scoop out the
seeds and wash.
- Slice bitter gourds in thin rounds and
squeeze out excess water.
- Marinate bitter gourds with turmeric
powder, chili powder and salt.
- Heat oil in a wok and deep-fry the bitter
gourd rings a little at a time until brown and crisp.
- Drain on absorbent kitchen paper. Serve
hot.
