Chicken Curry North Indian Style
Ingredients:
1 lb Chicken-drumsticks, thighs, breast
1 cup Plain yogurt
4 tbsp Vegetable oil
1/2 tsp Mustard powder
2 medium Onions (finely chopped)
2 pods Cardamom
2 Cloves
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2" piece Ginger
4 cloves Garlic
1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds
1/2 tsp Freshly ground pepper
Salt to taste

Method:
- Mix pieces of Chicken-drumsticks, thighs with
breast with salt, pepper and chili power on it. Add yogurt thoroughly to
the chicken meats until completely covered. Keep into the refrigerator
for 4 hours.
- Heat up a large pan with hot oil. Add mustard
seeds, cloves, cardamom and coriander seeds, and fry for 30 seconds, and
then add onion and fry for another 2 minutes until onion beings to turn
brown. Lower heat to medium, then add ginger and garlic paste, fry for
few minutes, later add mustard powder, garam masala and cumin powder.
- Get chicken meats from refrigerator after 4
hours and toss into the large frying pan together with the ingredients.
Cook with high heat and sauté until the chicken meats are cooked. Reduce
to low heat and cover.
- Serve hot
