Tandoori Chicken

Ingredients
6 Drumstick Chicken
1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Chili powder (or as per taste)
1/2 cup Yogurt
1 inch piece Ginger
4 cloves cups Garlic
1 tbsp Paprika
1/2 tbsp Garam masala
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp Oil
 

Method:
  1. Wash chicken and pat dry. Make 2-3 cuts (not very deep) on the chicken.
  2. Crush ginger and garlic and take the juice. (The remaining ginger-garlic can be kept refrigerated to use in some other curry)
  3. Mix the yogurt, ginger-garlic juice, all the spices and oil together in a bowl and add the chicken pieces into it and mix well so that the chicken is coated well. Put the chicken with marinade in a zip lock cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake in oven (set oven to broil) for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
