Shrikhand (An exotic yoghurt dessert)

Ingredients:
2 ½ cups Yoghurt (dahi), hung for 2 hours in a muslin cloth
¾ cup Sugar, ground
A few strands Saffron (kesar), soaked in 1 tsp water, ground
4 Green cardamom (choti elaichi) seeds, powdered
6 Almonds (badaam), blanched, chopped
8 Pistachios (pista), chopped
 

Method:
  1. In a large bowl, mix the yoghurt with sugar, Add ground saffron, half of the green cardamom powder, almonds, and pistachios. Mix well.
  2. Pour in individual bowls and serve chilled garnished with the remaining green cardamom power
