Tomatoes with Tamarind

Ingredients
1/2 kg Tomatoes
A small piece Tamarind
2 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
1/4 tsp Asafetida
1 tsp Salt
5 tsp Oil
 
Method:
  1. Chop the tomatoes to few larger pieces, mix tamarind, chili powder and salt. Add all the mixture and blender until a thick juice.
  2. Heat up the pan, sauté fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and asafetida. Fry until splatters, add the tomato mixture and fry at low heat until thick paste.
  3. Serve with curd rice.
