Crab Curry

Ingredients
3 lbs Crabs
2 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 sliced Medium onion
1 chopped Tomato
1 tbsp Tomato paste
1 cut lengthwise Green chili
3 cloves Garlic (crushed)
1 tbsp Tamarind pulp
Chopped cilantro
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Oil
 
Method:
  1. Get rid all shells from the crab, remain only the meats.
  2. Soak the tamarind in hot water, till soft, strain and reserve the liquid.
  3. Heat up pan with oil and fry the onion and cumin seeds, till golden brown and pop, then add in red chili powder, turmeric powder, and tomato paste, sauté for a while.
  4. Then add in garlic, green chili, tomato, crab meats and salt to taste. Sauté well, cover the pan and cook for five minutes with low heat.
  5. Then follow by tamarind liquid and cook for twenty minute, till cooked.
  6. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
