Fish Patties

Ingredients:
2 lb Fish (any fish of your choice)
2 Eggs (Beat the eggs well and set aside)

Grind together:
1/4 Coconut
3 tbsp Fried onions
1/2 tsp Black peppercorns
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Aniseeds
4 Cardamoms
1 small piece Cinnamon
2 tsp Poppy seeds
3 tbsp Bengal gram
1 inch piece Ginger
2 pods Garlic
5 Green chilies

Yogurt ingredients:
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 cup Plain yogurt
Salt to taste
 

Method:
  1. Add little water to the fish and bring it to a boil. Remove from heat and drain the water. Remove the skin and bones from the fish and mash it well.
  2. Add the ground mixture with yogurt ingredients. Mix well.
  3. Make them into patties and dip them in the bow of beaten eggs. Fry in little oil one by one until golden.
  4. Serve hot.
