Hot Crab Claws

Ingredients
8 Crab claws (cleaned)
1 Medium onion (sliced thinly)
7 Dried red chilies
˝ inch piece Ginger (chopped)
5 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
1 tbsp Tamarind pulp
˝ tsp Cumin seeds
1tsp Brown sugar
2 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste
 

Method:
  1. Get the tamarind pulp and soak into hot water for 10 to 15 minutes and then strain the reserve liquid. Soak the Cracked crab claws into the reserve liquid and marinate for an hour.
  2. Grind the ginger and red chilies to make a paste.
  3. Heat up a pan with oil and fry onions, garlic, cumin seeds and ground ginger-chili paste until it smells aroma, then add the tamarind marinated crab claws, salt, brown sugar and sauté it for a few minutes then simmer for 15 minutes or until the sauce become thickened.
  4. Serve hot.
