Malabhar Fish Curry

Ingredients
1 Fish (about 1 lb)
¼ tsp Red chili powder
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
1 cup Coconut grated
2 tbsp Ginger chopped
½ cup Pearl onion 1/2 cup
1 tbsp Coconut oil
1 spring Curry leaves
Salt as per taste
 
Method:
  1. Cut the fish into few pieces, and then keep aside.
  2. Mix the ground coconut, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ground ginger and 2 cups of water and bring to boil. Add the pieces of fish and cook till gravy is thickened.
  3. Pour in the coconut oil slowly and mix well with the gravy. When done, garnish with curry leaves.
  4. Serve hot
