Prawns Coconut Curry

Ingredients
2 lb Medium shrimp (shelled & deveined)
4 Green chilies (cut lengthwise)
1 Large onion (finely chopped)
1 inch piece Ginger (finely grated)
6 cloves Garlic (crushed)
A pinch of Asafetida
1 tsp Turmeric powder
10 Curry leaves
2 cup Coconut milk
1 tsp Mustard seeds
Salt to taste
1/2 cup Oil
 

Method:
  1. Heat up a large pan with little and fry mustard seeds, when it starts to pop, add asafetida powder, onion, ginger & garlic to fry until onions turn golden brown. Follow to add it turmeric powder, green chilies and curry leaves and fry together.
  2. Flow in the coconut milk and salt to taste. Add in the shrimps and mix well. Simmer up the pan until the shrimps are cooked.
  3. Serve hot.
