Garlic Rasam

Ingredients
3 diced Tomato
3 cloves minced Garlic
Pepper as per taste
2 tbsp Cilantro chopped
½ tbsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Mustard seeds
1 tbsp Coriander powder
¼ tbsp Cumin powder (optional)
¼ tbsp Turmeric
1 tbsp Cooking oil
1 sprig Curry leaves
1-2 cups Water
Salt as per taste
 

Method:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and when they crackle, add minced garlic and tomato and fry for 2 minutes.
  2. Add Water and spices and bring to boil. (Don't stir till it gets boiled). Reduce heat and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or as a soup.
