Mint Rasam

Ingredients
¼ cup Thuvar dhal
2 Green chilies
1 tbsp Rasam powder
Mint 1 bunch
2 Tomatoes (washed and diced)
½ tbsp Tamarind paste
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
Salt to taste
 

Method:
  1. Cook thuvar dhal with 2 cups of water and keep it aside.
  2. Fry mint, tomatoes, and green chilies in oil. Grind the above mixture. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil; add tamarind paste, turmeric and salt.
  3. Add the ground mixture, and cooked thuvar dhal and let it boil for 5-10 minutes.
