Pepper Rasam

Ingredients

2 tbsp Thuvar dhall
1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tbsp Pepper
3 Red chili
1/2 tbsp Tamarind paste
1/2 tbsp Turmeric
A few Curry leaves
3 cups Water
1/2 tbsp Ghee
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
1 tbsp Salt (or to taste)

Method:
  1. Heat up pan cooking oil; add thuvar dhall, red chili and cumin seeds. Let it fry for a while.
  2. Pour in water, and then add in turmeric, tamarind paste and salt. Let in boil for few minutes, and then follow by ghee, curry leaves and pepper.
