Poritha Rasam

Ingredients
3 Tomatoes (washed & chopped)
1/2 cup Thuvar dhal
1 Red Chili
1/2 tsp Pepper
A small pinch Hing
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Urad dhal
1/2 tsp Channa dhal
1/4 tsp Turmeric
A few Curry leaves
1/2 tsp Ghee
1/2 tsp Salt
 

Method:
  1. Heat up a pot with 2 cups of water. Add in thuvar dhal, tomatoes and turmeric to cook.
  2. In the other hand, fry little oil with a pan; add in channa dhal, urad dhal, red chili, cumin seeds and pepper. When ready pour and mix in the cook thuvar dhal.
  3. Add in splutter mustard, hing, curry leaves and ghee. Stir and cook until done.
  4. Serve hot
